Two-level slot probe Ecotec SLOTE-PROBE
Description
The two-level slotted probe is made of stainless steel and features a hand-held sampling probe design with grain compartments along the entire height of the probe. It is a 100% simulation of sampling with spear-shaped manual grain samplers. The standard length of the automatic slotted probe in the Ecotec series samplers is 2500-2700 mm.
How it works
The operator, using the control panel, immerses the slit probe into the body of the grain truck with the sampling product to the very bottom, the compartments of the slit probe are closed. After the slit probe reaches the bottom of the truck bed, the operator selects which part of the probe to open using the button for switching the opening of the probe compartments, there are two options for opening the compartments:
The first option:
Only the lower half of the dipstick cells are opened, the upper half remains closed during this switch. This will sample only the lower half of the vehicle body and the bottom grain layer.
The second option:
Standard sampling over the entire height of the product bulk. First, the lower half of the slit probe cells are opened, then the upper half of the probe cells are opened. The sample fills the compartments of the slit probe sequentially under the influence of gravity, after which the compartments are closed and the samples are discharged into the vacuum transfer chamber at the working end of the probe. After that, the turbine is switched on, which injects pressure, and the sample enters the sample receiving hopper in the laboratory.
