An effective method of grain sampling
Accurate grain sampling is equally important for both the producer and the buyer of grain. The grain sample is important because the information from the sample is used to establish the quality characteristics and value of the grain. Therefore, it is important to carefully consider and pay attention to the method of grain sampling.
The automatic grain sampling method is currently the fastest, most accurate and most efficient in Ukraine and the world. Ecotec automatic grain samplers are designed to perform such tasks:

Advantages of automatic grain sampling
- Sampling speed. Grain samples are taken from the vehicle directly on the weighing platform. With the help of the control panel located in the laboratory, the sampler operator will process the truck with the product in 5-7 minutes if it is properly adjusted. The manual method of sampling by one person will definitely take many times longer.
- Representativeness of the sample. Grain sampling is carried out along the entire height of the product bulk to the very bottom of the vehicle body. Accordingly, the volume of the sample taken will be larger than with the manual sampling method, which means that the sample is more representative of the actual composition and subsequent characteristics of the grain.
- Quality of sampling. Thanks to a powerful hydraulic station (120 Bar), all Ecotec samplers pierce the grain to the very bottom of the body, which is not the case with manual sampling. The automatic sampler does not care whether the sampled product is dried or has a moisture content of 40-50%.
- Convenience. The collected sample is transported via a pneumatic line directly to the receiving hopper installed in the laboratory.
